I was sitting in my car near the entrance to Stewart Park this afternoon just before 5:00, while my husband took a walk, as part of his post-surgery rehab. A tree that I was parked in front of started shaking & I heard loud roaring & cracking sounds (wondered if we were having an earthquake), then a huge branch came crashing down to the ground! It was a good thing my hubby had already passed that spot before it fell! Whew!
