The Glide volleyball team beat Butte Falls in four sets Thursday night in a Southern Cascade League match. Set scores were 27-25, 25-23, 18-25, 27-25. Glide (10-11, 8-3) has won five out of their last six league matches and sit in second place in the SCL with one match remaining. Ruby Livingston had 12 kills while Teagan Triplett had 14 kills for Glide. Zoe Parazoo had five aces and six kills while Mckynzie Swain added 17 assists. “It was a hard fought match. Butte Falls is a really scrappy team and was picking up everything we put down tonight,” Glide coach Stephanie Furlong said. “I’m happy to walk away with the win.” Glide hosts Lost River (6-9, 6-4) next Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. on senior night in a game that will affect playoff positioning. Glide will have a playoff game the following Saturday on October 26.
